I had a small shopping spree last Sunday, so I have a few more products to introduce. Surprisingly enough, most are L’Oréal – I’ve got a mask, compact foundation and a big bottle of micellar water. I always end up with more than I need when I go to Remedium.
I also placed a second Avon order. We have an Avon representative at the office, so I get to browse the catalogue on a regular basis and consequently order often. The quality may be on par with cheap Polish brands, but at least a it’s (very) affordable. I paid only 10,- leva (€5,-) for the whole order, so my expectations are pretty low.

This is my first post about new acquisitions. I would like to share a short overview of my new buys from the past month. I ordered some Avon ‘True Colour’ products in the beginning of February and scored a Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer and Vitamin serum foundation from Lily. Unfortunately, I already used up my sheet mask from DM, so this one won’t get a photo. The Alverde eyeshadow base and the Douglas peel off nail polish base are in though.

As a regular gym rat, my gym bag always has a set of essentials. I don’t like leaving the gym all sweaty, so I usually shower and dress up in street clothes before I leave. I often wash my hair as well. If I am going out afterwards, I also fix up my make-up. This is a short review of my favourite gym bag products: Aussie Miracle Moisture shampoo, a few shower gels and the Trevor Sorbie heat protection and straightening spray.

I bought the cushion foundation by L’Oréal back in December from one duty free in Cyprus, but I’ve been waiting to finish up one of my current fdt before I open it. Well, my curiosity got the better of me and I finally broke the seal this week. I understand these may be coming to Bulgaria, so I wanted to give it a try before the official release and get ready to stock up if I like the cushion. In the beginning of March I will hit my 3rd anniversary in Bulgaria. What brought me here was a job, so I think it would be appropriate to write a few words about career orientation and applying for jobs over here. This post is the planned as the first of a series, so don’t expect me to cover all topics.
Please note I will focus primary on the BPO (‘business process outsourcing’) sector, as this is the area where I am most experienced. BPO includes a lot of processes, but the most popular over here tend to relate to customer care and backoffice/financial administration. Just think of call centers and shared services centers.Of course, I will try to give some general directions applicable to other sectors as well. Keep in mind the most important CV-trick is to tailor your CV to the needs of the audience.

One of the things I used to overlook is skincare. When you’re under 25, it seems like washing your face with water now and then will solve all your issues. Well, for good or bad, this is no longer the case. Continue reading Skin care 101
I have started over and over with this blog. After taking 2016 off, I’m ready for a new beginning. I plan to make 2017 my year and writing is one of the things I want to focus on.
Who am I? I have legal background, more qualifications than most people would need and currently work as a Benelux representative for a major technology company. I’m also targeted on both revenue and call stats, if you need a pointer how low on the totem pole I actually am. Being born in the 90s, this may not be particularly surprising.
I hit 26 a month ago, my personal life is a bit of a mess, I have a shopping problem and I’m addicted to my Moto G. I’ve lived in a few European countries, I speak about 5 languages, and I’m currently based in Sofia, Bulgaria. I travel monthly, love discovering new places and exploring the local streets.
You will hear more about all of this in the upcoming posts. All older posts are now archived.
Welcome to my blog!
